PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2024 Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana was launched by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 1 February 2023. Under this scheme, various types of training will be provided to the beneficiaries of Vishwakarma Yojana. During this training, the beneficiaries will receive Rs 500 per day. Apart from this, the government will transfer an amount of Rs 15000 to the bank so that, tool kits can be purchased from it.

Citizens of the Vishwakarma community can get free training under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. Also, to start their own business, they can take up to ₹ 300000 from the government at only 5% interest. This amount is given in two phases. Firstly, A loan of Rs. 100000 is given in the first phase and a loan of Rs. 200000 is provided in the second phase.

Objectives of PM Vishwakarma Scheme 2024

Many castes are deprived of many types of economic benefit schemes run by the government. Also, they do not get proper training in the field of work.

The main objective of the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana is to provide proper training in the work field to all castes of the Vishwakarma community.

Apart from this, beneficiaries are provided loans at very low interest rates to start their own business.

Due to this scheme, all such castes who do not have money for training but are Mangal artisans, the government also provides financial help to such people under this scheme.

This scheme is especially important for the artisans of the Vishwakarma community.

More than 140 other castes are going to get benefits under this scheme. These include Baghel, Badger, Bagga, Bhardwaj, Lohar, Panchal, etc.
Under this scheme, the government will provide loans to 18 types of traditional businesses.
Also, the government has sanctioned capital of Rs 13000 crore for this scheme.
Under the scheme, only craftsmen and artisans will be given certificates and ID cards, as a result of which will give them a new identity.
Under this scheme, the castes of the Vishwakarma community are given training, and financial assistance is provided to them so that they can get employment.
